Indifferent Clouds

SMC Takumar 28mm 3.5 : f/3.5 : ISO - 200 : Shutter - 1/60

Yesterday evening spawned a very beautiful sundown with some fantastic cloud structures so I took this panorama with my SMC Takumar 28mm. After stitching them together and playing with the contrast, colour and saturation I decided to un-stitch them and create an interesting quadtych. I find that borders create tension and unease within certain imagery and photographs, especially continuous ones. For more examples with this style, see here and here.

West Beach With Open Eyes

Pentax FA 28-105 f/3.2-4.5 : f/11 : ISO - 200 : Shutter - 1/180 : Focal Length - 28mm

This photo was taken at West Beach in Adelaide, South Australia. It was taken at sundown so some areas of the photo are fairly dark but I particularly like the reflected colours on the water.

View From A Beach House

Pentax FA 28-105 f/3.2-4.5 : f/11 : ISO - 200 : Shutter - 1/750 : Focal Length - 28mm

This is the view from my families beach house at Point Lowly, South Australia. The only real way to appreciate it (apart from actually being there) is to see it by panorama. This photo was constructed with five photos, all at 28mm focal length.

Saijo Inari Panorama

Camera - Pentax K10D
Lens - Pentax DA 18-55mm
Focal Length - 55mm
Exposure - 1/20
ISO - 100
Aperture - f/22

Comments -I don't usually shoot above f/11 and this might actually be my first photo where I shot at f/22. This panorama is made up of six photos stitched together in post, it's also my first panorama on my K10D. It's not much of a photo but it was more of an experiment on using a smaller aperture, focusing and making a panorama.
